Metabolic Diagnostics
Biomarkers, not guesswork. Curated blood-biomarker panels through accredited laboratories, translated into a clear metabolic report you and your doctor can act on.
Most people optimise their metabolism blind — changing diet, supplements and routine without ever seeing whether it moved the numbers that matter. Metabolic Diagnostics replaces assumption with measurement: a focused set of validated biomarkers, sampled through an accredited lab, and returned as a structured report that tracks change over time.
What we intend to measure
Our planned launch panel (“Metabolic Baseline”) focuses on the markers most relevant to insulin resistance, cardiometabolic risk and metabolic-health tracking. Final panel composition is being defined with our clinical collaborators.
| Domain | Candidate markers | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Glycaemic control | Fasting glucose, HbA1c, fasting insulin, HOMA-IR (derived) | Detects insulin resistance years before fasting glucose alone turns abnormal |
| Lipid & cardiometabolic | Full lipid profile, triglyceride:HDL ratio, optionally ApoB | TG:HDL is a practical surrogate for insulin resistance and atherogenic risk |
| Hepatic | ALT, AST, GGT | Flags metabolic-associated fatty liver, a common companion to metabolic syndrome |
| Inflammation | hs-CRP | Low-grade inflammation links adiposity to cardiometabolic risk |
| Body composition | BMI, waist circumference, optional bioimpedance | Central adiposity tracks metabolic risk better than weight alone |
| Supporting (optional) | Vitamin D, B12, thyroid (TSH), uric acid | Common modifiable contributors to energy, metabolism and adherence |
How we’ll select markers
Panels are designed for signal, not volume. We prioritise markers that are validated, actionable and trackable over time, and we tier them (core vs. extended) so cost stays proportionate to value. The final list, reference ranges and any derived indices are reviewed by qualified clinical collaborators before launch.
Methodology & standards
Accredited testing
All assays run at accredited partner laboratories adhering to stringent national and international standards. Metabica does not perform testing itself — we curate the panel, manage the experience and produce the report.
Sample & logistics
Home phlebotomy or partner collection centres, defined turnaround times, and chain-of-custody handling appropriate to each assay.
Validated references
Results reported against established reference ranges, with derived indices (e.g. HOMA-IR, TG:HDL) calculated transparently and documented.
Longitudinal tracking
Re-test cadence (e.g. baseline, then quarterly) so members see direction of travel, not a single isolated reading.
Plain-language report
Each marker explained in accessible terms, grouped by metabolic domain, with what’s in range, what’s worth watching, and what to discuss with a doctor.
Clinical oversight
The report is educational. Where clinical interpretation is offered, it is provided by independent registered medical practitioners.
The report is the product
A lab printout is data; a Metabica report is understanding. We structure results by metabolic domain, explain each marker in plain language, surface the relationships between markers (for example, how fasting insulin and triglycerides tell a story that glucose alone misses), and show change against your own baseline.
Where relevant, the report connects findings to the nutrition and program options on the platform — clearly, and without overstepping into medical advice.
Privacy & what this is not
Your data
Biomarker results are sensitive personal data. They are collected with consent, stored securely, retained only as long as needed, and never sold. Our practices are aligned with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Scope of service
Metabolic Diagnostics is a wellness and education service. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Testing is performed by accredited laboratories; clinical interpretation, where provided, comes from independent registered medical practitioners. Always consult your doctor about your results and before changing medication or treatment.
Early access to Metabolic Diagnostics
The first panel opens to a limited early-access group. Join the waitlist to be first — or, if you run a laboratory or clinic and want to partner, get in touch.
Join the waitlistMetabolic Diagnostics is an upcoming service. Laboratory testing will be performed by accredited partner laboratories. Reports are educational and do not constitute a medical diagnosis. Any clinical interpretation is provided by independent registered medical practitioners. Always consult your doctor regarding your health and test results.
